 The college physical education and sports department came into existence in the year 1983. The objective of our department is to take necessary steps for promotion of healthy sports culture and the activities in the sports and games in college as per the policy of the university and aiming to promote good health among students, staff and society.

In the field of physical education and sports our college students participate in sports activities organized by intercollegiate, inter-zonal, universities, state and national level competitions. Our students have brought glory to the college by winning to various competitions. Our outstanding players are valuable asset of our college. Our students have excelled in various games and events like hockey, football, softball, gymnastics, powerlifting, athletics, chess and weightlifting etc. Every year we conduct health related Physical fitness tests in our college to let students know their fitness level. “Health for all” is our department’s goal.
