Vision

Vidya Bhavan College started with a vision, which is articulated as follows:

“To provide an anchor to the less privileged, for those students who scored a lower percentage, and to give them an opportunity to experience the same academic excellence offered elsewhere.”

The vision took seed and germinated on the borrowed premises of Vidya Bhavan School in Model Colony. The sapling was later transplanted to our own building at Fatima Nagar. Undeterred by the paucity of funds, taking one step at a time, we grew from a single-shelf library to a separate reading room with enormous books and magazines. Gradually our infrastructure too was consolidated with the acquisition of having a separate computer laboratory where students can use the innovative learning process.

Mission

“Educate students to prepare them for life, through a threefold process, that is being critical, disciplined and cultured, so that the students graduating from this college may not only be successful in life but also be faithful to the commitment of life.”

Thus, our vision has been realized to go beyond the self-centered, enabling the students and teachers to look both inward and outward and embrace the needs of the wider and changing society.
